We encourage all ethical and proud real estate agents in Nigeria to join and help make a difference in our communities. Whether it’s just becoming an ordinary member to becoming a corporate member and attending our annual general meetings to staying informed about real estate development news, your participation is valuable and appreciated.
Founded in 2018, REPAN has been serving communities since 2011. The association was established to organize individuals and entities with interest in real estate transactions into an integrated unit that will lead the industry to an international level of professionalism and performance.
REPAN emerged in 2011 as an initiative to organize professionals with transactional interests in Real Estate into an integrated unit in Nigeria. Through the agility and wealth of experience of our networks, the initiative evolved into an organisation in 2018, that is leading the Real Estate Industry and its related fields to an international level of performance and professionalism.
Nigerian cities have been attracting investment interests including tremendous foreign interest and luxurious tastes together with foreign investment, and our local business people are continuously being exposed to international trends and policies in development. These has allowed real estate to become an integral part of most business activities/decisions in Nigeria so there exists a vacuum to satisfy the needs of the community as we move into the 21st Century.
REPAN was established to promote fair standards to buyers, sellers and real estate agents, increase the level of networking and co-operation among agents. A Constitution & Bye-Laws of the Association has been established with enforceable rules, regulations and a code of ethics governing our professional relations to ensure that our Members operate on professional levels for the benefit of the general public.
At present, REPAN is totally self regulating, in that it sets its own rules as they apply to the industry and the circumstances that prevail in Nigeria. We operate a very effective disciplinary committee that has had to deal with some very difficult decisions as it applies to infringements made of its rules and regulations its membership.
Unfortunately, REPAN is not in a position to deal with matters that take place outside of the Association which do not involve our members, as it does not have the power to do so.
REPAN envision operating at an international level that is required and keep real estate agents abreast of technology and performance in Nigeria.
